  • Autonomy.   It's why you started your business.  To be able to do the job you want to do, the way you think it should be done, the way you know is better for your clients.   To have the responsibility of delivering on your promises and a fair share of the rewards that result.

The trouble is, as you get bigger, adding people to your team, it feels like that autonomy drains away, until one day, its easy to feel you're no longer working for yourself but for the people you employ.

The only way to get that autonomy back, is to pass it on, so your team can get on without you.
