On Tuesday I received an email from Royal Mail letting me know that a parcel I was expecting would be delivered the next day – within a 2 hour window. It didn’t arrive.
Early this morning I received the same message. It didn’t arrive.
I clicked on the link to track the parcel. The tracking system told me it hadn’t been delivered because the house was ‘inaccessible’, and that they would attempt to deliver again the next day.
Having placed my order last Saturday, I wasn’t expecting to receive it until tomorrow.
Sometimes ignorance really is bliss.
