If you haven’t written the play for your business, you’re doomed.
To be on stage in every scene forever, unable to go on holiday, unable to attract great people to work in it, supply bigger customers than yourself, work effectively with partner businesses.
You’ll be unable to attract investors. Sell it for the reward you really deserve.
In other words, you won’t be able to create a business that is bigger than you or can last longer than you.
Thinking about your business as a play makes you realize you have to write scripts, stage directions, and all the other bits and pieces that make sure it happens smoothly every time.
This creates a framework that empowers other people to deliver your business story better than you can any time, any place, anywhere. Interpretations will vary according to the personality of the performers, but it will always be your play.
The obvious other people are your staff, but they could also be customers, suppliers, franchisees, licensees, volunteers.
They should all be people who love what you do and want others like them to experience it also.
Getting started is simple and it looks like this.
If this is something you’d like to explore, let’s meet for coffee.
You can tell me how you’d like your play to be staged.
Not like that.
